Loan Update
In case you are wondering why there haven't been any updates, it's because there are none really. The bank we were originally working with came back with purchase price that much less than they had originally offered. So.... we are trying Sound Community Bank now in hopes of getting our original purchase price request so that we can still stay in the general area of our current home.
What I'm Reading
Wow! I can't believe I haven't posted my books list since April 29th!!!!! Well, here is what I have read since my last book post...
As you can see I got a little out of control with this series. I am currently readding two novels, entertaining both stories depending on my mood.

Daily dose of inspiration #3 & #4
OK the rug is hideous but I love the layout of the kitchen. Though I would add a hanging rack above the osland for my pots & pans.
Again, I don't like the rug choice, but the rest I could definately live with. So warm and inviting...

Daily dose of inspiration #3
I am ALL about the country charm master bedroom. I already (sorry, WE) have the perfect bedding, bed frame, and dresser for it. Our furniture is a nice antique stain rather than the white so it will still give the rooms a hint of masculinity while remaining relaxing and pleasing to the eye. The walls (not sure how many) will be painted a very pale, soft, mint green (PMS 344, Madeira 1047 who work in apparel like myself). When we finally have the new room I also plan to matte and frame some photos from our wedding (see floral photos below) to hang around the room to add some nice decor but still avoiding mass produced art. I like the idea of cracked white painted frames but I am not sure that would work with our furniture. We will see what I find. I want them to be old and have personality. I am thinking Goodwill will be my best bet. Depending on the size of the room I may look in to adding a winged back chair. I have one in the basement that I think would be super easy to recover. Plus it would get Kevin's favorite chair back in the house.

Meg, you are my inspiration
So, as you know we have been trying to buy a house. As of tomorrow (fingers crossed) we will be approved for our loan. Wednesday we have an appointment to view (for the second time) a house that we having been pining over in Greenwood. Following Meghan's "Daily Doses of Inspiration" posts, I have been inspired to start blogging ideas for home decorating. These ideas are not for "the" house specifically, I am not jinxing myself with that. But I do know I will have a home of my own soon so there is no reason not to post ideas.
